We love kids here at Crosslands Church and it is our goal to provide a safe, loving & nurturing environment for your children, where they can grow and become all that they were created to be.

This is what a child will experience on Sunday morning in our kids' program. We are following the Promiseland model:

1) Registration
A friendly registrar will take all your information the first time you visit, present you with a nametag, and give your caregiver a token.  All this is to ensure that BuilderZone will be a safe environment for all the children to play and learn.

2) Activities
This is the fun part!  This is where you have the chance to burn off energy, exercise your brain, or just have plain fun.  We usually have a variety of activities available, including soccer, puzzles, chess, crafts, board games, etc.  So whatever your learning style or personality, we have something for you.What you don't know is that there are adult leaders around who will take this chance to play along with you.  This isn't just so they will have fun, but so that you will interact with them.  This is the first step to building trusting relationships.

3) Large Group
In the middle part, all the kids come together for the show.  It's not just a show, but an important lessonis being taught through a variety of media.  Again, kids have different learning styles, so between the music, drama or video, stories, and large group interaction, something will be right for you. Our team will communicate one key concept every week to help you begin to build your life even at this young age

4) Small Group
After the large group time, you will join a small group of other kids your age with an adult leader.  This is where the Activity Time with the adult leaders comes into play.  Because an adult interacted with you and began to build a relationship of trust with you during the Activity Time, you will be more willing to open up and talk now. During this time, the Small Group leader will help you to apply the key concept of the Large Group into your life.  If you are having any problems or struggles in your life, this is a safe place where you can talk about it with your caring adult leader.
